By: Abraham Lincoln
What
this quote is trying to state is that, no matter what you should always
tell the truth. What people see in you is the trust and the honesty
that you have. Especially what they look for is your character. For
example, Abraham Lincoln walked six miles just to pay a debt he had
with a young lady. He was always truthful and was always responsible. No
matter what he had to do or how far it was he always managed to deal
with what he owed. You have to stand with people who choose the right.
If some guy or girl you hang out with chooses the wrong then you could
make her realize the bad things about that decision and try to make her
understand what to do so she could go the right direction. Another
example is who would walk six miles just to pay a debt that they have?
no one would because they would think its far, but Abraham Lincoln did
that he stayed truthful and did what he had to do so he would be in the
right path. Always choose the right and be true and you will be a winner
no matter what.
